A real post!
The Ravemblondes get cats.
The Ravenclaw living situation has been really problematic for a while.
So, they finally split into smaller groups.
Kingsley moves in with a bunch of his friends from Gryffindor house.
The girls all stick together.
Jason’s with his friend, Diggle (and Diggle’s flatmate, Gladys.)
And of course, the Ravenblondes find a house together.
Lyla comes by to see her boyfriend’s new house, (but mostly to see her boyfriend.)
Xeno and Lyla appreciate Dearborn’s company as well.
But right now they’d like some privacy.
Instead, he goes upstairs to see what Gilders is doing.
Together they experiment with Muggle technology.
Dearborn is clearly winning.
He must be cheating. Gilderoy threatens to hit him with his controller.
Eventually, Xeno and Lyla come upstairs to check things out.
Lyla’s doing a lot better than Gilders was.
But she’s muggle born, so she obviously has an advantage.
Gilderoy boos her, he’s never liked Xeno’s girlfriend.
Speaking of girlfriends, Gilderoy’s dumped him.
He isn’t actually attracted to women, but he’s still fond of her.
He just really misses Rita.
At least he’s got his friends to cheer him up! They never liked Rita anyway.
What they do like is cats, so they take him to buy one.
Xeno and Dearborn have lots of fun playing with the other animals.
So they each decided to get cats of their own!
By some coincidence, they each end up choosing male cats.
Gilderoy has Mittens, Xeno’s got Jay Catsby, and Dearborn has Prof. Flitwick (named after his favorite teacher.)
They don’t have any females living with them anymore, so they decide to collectively adopt a lady cat, bring the grand cat total up to four. (Her name is Topanga.)
The only downsides to this outing were:
- Finding out that Dearborn has an evil twin.
2. Gilderoy’s lack of popularity with the male population.
The trio arrives home, finding some Hufflepuffs there to welcome them into their new home.
Unfortunately, it was already time for Gilders and Xeno to go to work.
Gwenog Jones didn’t stay long.
But Ted Tonks and Benjy Fenwick were able to join Dearborn for lunch. (Benjy’s still in his uniform, he’s yet to notice this is summer.)
Benjy and Ted both happen to be muggleborn.
But, Dearborn’s still kicking Ted’s butt at this video game. (Apparently, muggleborns are not inherently better at video games, Gilderoy (and Ted) are just bad at them.)
Gilders and Xeno eventually return home from work and everyone goes to bed.
With the exception of Prof. Flitwick.
Three bonus pictures:
The full exterior of the Ravenblondes’ new house.
I’m really happy with Dearborn’s bedding! I made it just for him!
Funny thing about this picture, they only adopted four cats.
BOOM! It’s been less than a week! Frequent posting? Let’s see how long I can keep that up! HA!
